# 지열 에너지 (Geothermal Energy)

지각 내부 열을 이용해 전력·난방을 생산하는 재생에너지원. 기저부하 (base load) 대응 가능한 indigenous 청정에너지 — 풍력·태양과 달리 안정 출력. 그러나 입지 의존성 (지열 자원지 한정) 과 초기 시추 비용이 보급의 제약. 정책 지원은 투자 인센티브·의무 (RPS) 등이 효과적.
