Standardization revisited: A critical literature review on standards and innovation

효과적인 ICT 표준은 서비스 간 상호운용성 (interoperability) 을 보장하면서도 차별화·경쟁·혁신을 촉진한다. 본 연구는 표준화 (standardization) 연구 문헌을 origin → demand-side → supply-side → standards & innovation → national policy → standard-based competition 의 7-section 구조로 비판적 검토하고, 표준이 국가 경제 성장과 기업의 비전통적 전략 도구가 될 가능성을 도출한다. demand-supply framework 위에서 (i) 더 많은 empirical 연구, (ii) 산업·제품별 최적 standardization process 비교, (iii) industry alliance·전문가 협회 같은 새로운 standardization 전략의 4 개 future research 의제를 제시한다.
